age 59 and putting the 57 Chevy back together   

I have worked out for 6 months and now am at a stage where i can work out daily.

I am about 30 lbs overweight and working on it. Was 45

I jog 2.5 mi per day walk 1.5 per day three times a week.
I work out in the weight room twice a week. Light weights and many reps. Sit up's leg lifts, arm pulls.

Looking to do my first 5k July 4. Any suggestions to get better?

Continuing to gain ground, no Pun intended.

 

Running 3 and a half miles twice weekly, lifting twice a week. Running in 4 mile run July 4th hope I make it.

I want to win my age group
