Well I'm very slowly feeling better. Not sure if the antibiotics they gave me is what my body needed, but at least it feels like I'm on the home stretch of this. The weather is getting nicer, and I could be running outside. I'm hoping that in the next week I can reset the beginning half marathon program for the 3rd time and start training. I'm crossing my fingers.

Well I've managed to relapse back into the head cold that I've been fighting for the past month. I can honestly say I thought I was better and was going to get over this and it slams me again. Will it ever go away?

Well I made the decision to postpone starting the half marathon training program until next week. I did a little over a 2 mile run earlier this week and my ankle has experienced quite a bit of soreness. It is my hope that I will be able to get start next week with out the pain that I am having today. On a positive note, the allergy and immunity boosting herbs I have been trying (not generally one to go holistic but have decided to give it a whirl) have seemed to help. I'm crossing my fingers that it continues.

Well I probably shouldn't have run today because my lungs are still bothering me a little, but I did. I really can't complain, I did 2.25 miles and the lungs don't feel bad now and the ankle is only has some minor soreness. I'm a day off on my training routine as I wanted to start the training program for the beginner half marathon, so hopefully I'll feel okay tomorrow to be able to get back on schedule.

Well I'm trying to get restarted on my training once again. I have had a decent couple of weeks running, and of course murphy's law strikes again. I sprained my ankle again a week after starting to run again. I was toughing it out by wearing a splint and continued my training. However once again my body decides to betray me. I caught a cold and have been hit pretty hard. I ran through it the first day the coughing kicked in, but have been attempting to rest since. The most frustrating thing is that it has cost me 4 days of training so far and I'm not sure how much longer its going to last.
